Meet Jason.

A native of Western New York, Jason grew up loving and playing all sports. He was a Midshipman 1/C at the United States Naval Academy where his assigned service selection was to Naval Aviation (Pilot), his first choice. Jason was also a member of the Navy Men's Ice Hockey Team. On November 27, 2016, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, Jason tragically passed away due to complications related to Leukemia.

Raising Awareness for Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer.

Cancer in adolescents and young adults (ages 15-39) is a unique and complex challenge. This age group faces distinct biological, psychological, and social issues that differ significantly from those of pediatric and older adult cancer patients. Cancers common in AYAs, such as Hodgkin lymphoma, testicular cancer, and certain sarcomas, often require specialized treatment and support.
